Bike-Lending at Law Library

SLS Students, Faculty, and Staff may reserve a bike online and then visit the Borrowing Services Desk to check it out.  Bikes may be reserved 1 to 4 hours up to one hour before closing.  Reservations that are not claimed within 15 minutes of the reservation start-time will be cancelled. No overnight loans will be permitted. Bike lending is available to SLS affiliates only.

The Borrowing Services Desk is available to assist you with your reservation.  If bikes are available, the Borrowing Services Desk will accept walk-in requests for bikes.  You may reach the circulation desk at Circulation@law.stanford.edu or at 650.723.2477.

Please Note:  First-time riders will need to read and sign a waiver.  Please factor in five minutes to complete this waiver in-person.  For returning riders, you only need to inform Circulation staff that you have already signed a waiver and they will verify that your waiver is on file. 

Inventory

There are four step-through bikes (Crosstown 2.3) and four mid-step bikes (Momentum iNeedStreet).  Each bike is equipped with a basket, a bell, a front light, and a U-lock. Helmets are also available to check-out at the Circulation Desk.
